Since I booked booked thru Expedia I was unaware of a $75 pet fee, which seems excessive for a single night. I don't have a problem with paying a pet fee but $75 for one night??There was also a fee for parking. Who charges for parking at a hotel??? Not valet, just parking. Not happy that my stay cost almost $100 more for one night than anticipated. Also the advertised room rate was not available when booking and ended up being $40 more. So ultimately the night cost double what I was expecting. Very disappointing.

We stayed at Hyatt Place in Lakeland for a dance competition at RP Funding. I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff. Every staff person I came in contact with was so nice and helpful. And it was great to walk out the door and walk into RP Funding. .

It was a nice spot in the downtown area. Everything was within walking distance. The staff were very pleasant, and helpful. The breakfast was more than just a few muffins and cereal, they had the whole deal Eggs, bacon, sausage, and waffles... etc . I would suggest this hotel for a nice relaxing vacation.

It was an “okay” stay. Slightly disappointed because it wasn’t worth the price point that we had to pay. Carpet was dingy and dirty looking, room smelled like dirty wet rug, breakfast food was ok, didn’t have a variety of options each day though, hallway lighting was dark and eerie-felt spooky, some of the furniture and designs in the room looked run down/broken, bathroom too small. Plus we didn’t know we had to pay for parking until we got there. Good idea to check in the future before booking another hotel. On a positive note, we felt safe. It was quiet and staff were very nice and courteous.

I came to this hotel with my family it’s amazing super clean the staff it’s very nice, one thing that I don’t like about is the parking lot you have to pay I think you pay enough money for the hotel room.but I love it.

Bad: 1- Next to train track so don’t expect to sleep well. This train route rumbled, ran throughout the night, screeched, and BLOWING HORN. No sound proof windows! 2- Plenty of parking yet no free parking. $10/night but still Not cool. 3- Bedside electric outlets don’t work. 4- Very slow elevators that rumbled. Felt like it’s on the last leg. Good: 1- Breakfast included. Fresh waffle maker, fruits, toasts, cereals, sausages, but powdered eggs. 2- Very roomy, good bed, good lighting.

Clean , comfortable, roomy stay.
clean, convenient, roomy for a family of 4. Near train track so could be noisy. Beds not the most comfortable. Never heard other guests. Hot breakfast in am lovely. The staff was probably the kindest I have encountered. Eager to assist. It was rainy and cold for our short stay, but the cute pool is heated. Walkable. Fun restaurants with in walking distance.
