Je déconseille
Hôtel français, tenu par des français "à la cool" frôlant l'amateurisme hôtelier. Quand je suis arrivée le soir, le temps était couvert, l'hôtelier m'a fait comprendre qu'il fallait que je commande rapidement car il comptait renvoyer plus tôt le personnel de cuisine. Donc j'ai dîné à 18h... Il a fallu revenir pour demander le WIFI. Carte du restaurant française type snacking, onéreuse au regard des prix affichés sur l'île. Le mobilier dès bungalows est classique, pour ne pas dire dénué de charme et vieux (TV cathodique) mais la nuitée n'est pas trop chère donc on ne peut pas tout avoir ! La réaction du gestionnaire a carrément été déplacée lorsque j'ai annoncé mon départ anticipé alors même que tout était payé par avance et qu'il ne leur en coûtait rien. Mauvaise foi garantie.

Bonjour Chloe, je pense que la mauvaise foi est garantie effectivement mais pas de notre part . En ce qui concerne votre depart anticipe la reaction fut deplace car vous nous avait demande de vous rembourser en insistant et on vous a simplement explique que ce n'etait pas possible . En ce qui concerne la carte de mon restaurant c'est une carte d'un restaurant de plage travaillant principalement le midi donc effectivement il y a de nombreuses salades , sandwichs mais vous avez peut être oublie de tourner la page car nous avons également de nombreuses grillades , des poissons , et une cuisine thaïlandaise délicieuse . En ce qui concerne les prix effectivement nous sommes plus cher que le restaurant thaïlandais en bord de route mais nous sommes au même prix que tous les restaurants en bord de plage . Vous auriez peut être du en essayer d'autres avant de comparer . En vous souhaitant une bonne journée Chloe .

Hôtel insalubre
Une semaine dans cet hôtel pas du tout entretenu. les oreillers sentent très mauvais la transpiration des clients précédents, le ménage est mal fait voire pas fait du tout, la literie est de très mauvaise qualité et le mal de dos vous accompagne tous les jours, le propriétaire et son adjoint sont inhospitaliers. J'avais passé une semaine dans cet hôtel il y a 2 ans et j'avais été très satisfait mais tout s'est dégradé. Je déconseille fortement cet endroit qui pourrait pourtant être bien + agréable s'il était entretenu.

Nous avons séjourné au Weekender avec nos enfants en bas ages, c'était tout simplement génial, le personnel etait extra, la nouriture super, je reviendrai avec tout mes amis.

Les photos sont les photos des bungalows de luxe, ds la chambre pas 1 rangement, pas 1 table. La route est juste a cote... ca merite 1 coup de neuf.. et d entretien du jardin.... par contre le menage est fait a fond tous le jours...

Hotel très bien situé , près du centre de lamai (1.5km) . l’hôtel est très calme . Les bungalows sont simples mais très fonctionnels avec petite terrasse ; ils donnent sur une petite cours à quelques mètres de la réception , de la piscine et de la plage . la literie ( lit king size) est d'excellente qualité. il y a un frigo, clim, ventilateur, eau chaude . la petite plage de 'hotel est très sympa avec peu de monde. Le personnel est accueillant et très arrangeant. Vous pouvez louer un scooter directement à l'hotel ( très peu cher et rapide). Nous avons passés 9 nuits en mars dans un bungalow supérieur ;Excellente adresse.

Pour ceux qui veulent être au calme
Petits bungalows à 20mn à pied du centre de Lamai et de ses animations. La piscine donne sur une petite plage. Nous avions pris le bungalows "backpackers" pour une nuit, les matelas n'étaient pas confortables et on entend un peu le bruit de la route. Mais pour une nuit, ce n'était pas trop grave. Mise à part notre bungalows qui aurait eu besoin d'un rafraîchissement , le cadre est très joli, le jardin et la piscine aussi, les petits déjeuners sont bons et le personnel extrêmement sympathique. Je le recommande pour ceux qui veulent être au calme.

Tolle Bungalows direkt am Strand
Wir waren 3 Nächte auf Koh Samui und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, Die Bungalows sind schön eingerichtet und die Anlage sehr sauber. Der Pool- und Liegebereich am Strand ist sehr ansprechend. In Laufweite befinden sich verschiedene Restaurants, Bars, Reisebüros und Märkte.

Much potential!
This place has potential! I'm sure it will be great next year. However: THEY MUST change room lamps to something more cosy and less glaring. The rooms are nice with hot shower. It's just by the beach but the restaurant and service seems to be in a startup phase.

Great location. New ownership and upgrades on-goin
The location is outstanding. It is quiet and attractive. The new French owners who live on the property, acquired the previously dilapidated hotel just about 8 months ago, and have made major improvements. My only real complaint was the truly bad mattress. I let the management know and they assured me that is in their immediate plans. Until then, I would not book there again, in spite of all the other appeals of the place. Otherwise, the restaurant is very good as you would expect from a French establishment. The patio is directly over the a very quiet and super clean section of Lamai beach. The restaurant is partly under a roof and some of the (new teak) tables are on the patio overlooking the water. Very appealing and romantic. Great place for a young couple (or any age) Nice lounge chairs and umbrellas and good (quick) serivice on the patio. The pool is not big, but impeccably clean. The staff are all fluent in English, and the management and supervisors all are native French speakers. Really attractive and comfortable, except for the beds. The management also assured me that the furnishings of the rooms are being upgraded too. They are basic now, but ok. I would definitely come again, with the assurance of a good mattress.

ON the beach, Relaxing and AMAZING!
I cant begin to explain what a wonderful place this is! We had a great experience in our lil beach bungalow... it came with a deck and fridge and the beach there was more private than the hotels more south of us in Lamai.... it had the finest sand and warmest water.... plus the pool is right there on the ocean basically! Peaceful and private... simple room with what you need... and walking distance to the night market and busier areas of Lamai! The staff was my favorite part along with the amazing food... breakfast baguettes and popcorn shrimp (which were actually large shrimp fried perfectly)

Nice little resort. bungalows are simple and a little dated. Could use a renovation. Staff was friendly. pool and bar area were really nice. Rented a scooter from the resort which made things easy. about a 20 minute walk to Lamai beach so if you don't mind being a little away from the action then this place will work.

Booked in for 2 back to back periods (2 weeks and 4 weeks )only to find the hotel refurbishment far from finished.no kitchen/restaurant for 2 weeks.no bar to start and then just a fridge with beer in.bar not open in the evening anyway due to mine being the only occupied bungalow. As guests arrive they see the lack of facilities and move swiftly on.i have looked myself but have been unable to find suitable alternative accommodation for a 6 week period .mattress had to be replaced as broken springs sticking in my back.wifi only works sporadically. No tea coffee making facilities in room. I have to say though that zack and the ladies Have worked hard to recify anything in their power possible

Good if you're on a budget
Arrived in the evening and was shown bungalow room. Room was basic and bed sheets dirty. Air conditioning worked well. WiFi worked well in room. Had to ask how to use in room safe, however when approached staff were helpful. Gave us a lift to our next hotel at a good price. Hotel also does laundry at reasonable rate and came back very clean. Overall facilities looked a bit run down and the place lacked atmosphere. We enjoyed the peace and quiet however. Location was good, you can walk along the beach into Lamai, takes about 20/30 minutes. 7/11 within 5 minute walk Would stay here again if on a budget!

Der besitzer der weekender villa ist sehr nett, alle mitarbeiter sehr höflich. Das essen im hotel restaurant war auch gut, leider mussten wir in der letzten nacht feststellen dass es bettwanzen im zimmer gab.. Wem das nichts aus macht dem gefällt es sicher!

Very ordinary stay. Resort has an air of neglect. Thai offering temples at the entrance are in a state of disrepair. No tea bags or coffee in the room, safe was broken. On arrival a very drunk friend the owner was in the pool getting rather 'touchy freely'. Breakfast - worst food I ate in Thailand. Another friend of the owner behind the bar one night was rude to my friend & I when we left - possibly because we queried his taste in music ( Bon Jovi anyone.....) Saving grace was Adam - great staff member who made us feel welcome. Not what I expected.

Aufenthalt als Familie, wir hatten zwei Bungalows nebeneinander. Das angeschlossene Restautant bietet sowohl Thai, als auch westliche Küche und war sehr preiswert. Ein Pool sowie eine Tischtennisplatte und Billiardtisch runden das Angebot ab. Der Strand ist angenehm ruhig und im Gegensatz zu anderen Abschnitten sehr sauber.

The bungalows are small and rustic but certainly clean and comfortable. There was no AC but the fan cooled the room adequately. The bathroom is small, you are showering directly over the toilet. Otherwise, the place is really nice. The staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and the property is right on a beach which is protected by a breakwater, so the waves aren't as high as at other resorts. There is also a small pool for the kids (or you) to swim. The best part is the courtyard, which has 4 ancient banyan trees which provide shade and keep the entire property cool even on the hottest of days. The longer I stayed here, the more I liked it.

Härligt hotell
Om ens resa passerar Koh Saumi och man inte är ute efter de stora festerna utan ett lugnare hotell kan detta hotell rekommenderas. Hotellet består av ca 15 bungalow och ligger ”On the Beach”, vilket inbringar en rofull stämning. Rummen är städade liksom övriga hotellet och personalen är mycket trevlig. Till hotellet går det enklast att ta sig med Tuck-Tuck som kostar 100 BAT (oavsett var du reser ifrån), från färjeläget Surat Thani tar resan ca 40 minuter. Dock kan tilläggas att ön är mycket exploaterat och det finns inte någon stad att upptäcka.

Lovely quiet place; rooms cleaned daily. Quiet air-con. Rooms have dvd players with a selection to pick from. Decent food at the bar. Very small swimming pool with comfortable sun chairs around and the beach directly in front. I noticed the description here saying it is 'near the beach', but it couldn't be nearer the beach unless it was actually on the sand! It's about a 7 min walk to the very busy night market area (not sure why ppl are saying that it's miles away from anything - it is a few kms from Lamaii central but I walked for a few mins and found the night market and plenty places to eat and drink or get massages, etc). It's not the place to be if you're looking to whoop it up every night, the bars on the beach here are pretty quiet. Lamai is a lot more sedate than Chaweng but it's still a busy area as regards numbers of places to eat, etc. I'd recommend staying here if you just want to totally relax whilst not spending too much cash on accomodation but also want clean and comfortable. Ask for rooms away from the main road side.

If you would like to venture out there is a 7/11, day spas, salons, and restaurants within 50 meters of our resort. lamai central is a mear 2km away. Great find on Lamai beach
Loved this place! Room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. They gave us an open a/c room even though we booked a fan room. They also helped us book taxis to the airport. The resort itself was right on the beach and had a lovely shaded courtyard with a pool, restaurant and ping pong and pool. Definitley was pleasantly surprised by this place considering the price. Would stay here again on my next visit.

Heerlijke locatie op Ko Samui!
Super hotel. Direct aan zee. Strand te klein om op te liggen, maar ligbedden aan zee. Helaas geen WiFi op de kamer, maar wel bij het zwembad en de receptie :). Grote tip: Eet bij het hotel, heerlijk!

Ik verontschuldig me voor de wi - fi en het eventuele ongemak dat dit kan hebben veroorzaakt . Zoals we hebben problmes met dit tijdens het hoogseizoen , als gevolg van de overmatige hoeveelheid van gebruik in deze tijd. Een probleem dat we hebben spen meer dan 20.000 mensenhandel in de laatste maand probeert op te lossen . Ik hoop dat u geniet van de rest van uw reis en dat u een geweldige kerst gehad. Zu weit entfernt vom Ort
Wir kamen an und dachten wo sind wir hier????Die Ortschaft ist ca 2 km entfernt und es geht zu fuss an einer viel befahrenen Hauptstrasse entlang. Das Hotel selbst ist ruhig aber wer läuft schon gern am Seitenstreifen entlang um zu den Restaurants zu kommen. Ohne Roller ist es unbequem. Strand gibt es auch fast keinen denn der vorhandene ist nur 1 meter breit und bei Flut weg!!!!Trotzdem wars OK denn wir hatten den Pool meistens für uns allein. Die meisten Gäste waren junge langschlaefer motorisiert von daher hatten wir super Ruhe.

Lagom spartanskt men oerhört bekvämt boende. Personalen var superb och välkomnande. Tycker att avståndet till Lamai var bra så man fick sig sin dagliga promenad. Toppenställe, rekommenderas varmt

Easy going hotel.
It is an ok hotel if you are traveling as a back packer. Nice little bungalow, not fancy but clean an with AC. In front of the ocean. Simple but we had a nice relaxing time.

Worst hotel ever
Bathroom is filthy, and has fungus. The beds are absolutely worn out, should have been changed 5 years ago. Especially the ekstra bed, just unacceptable even for a cheap hotel . We got relocated to a different hotel. It has just 2 electrical plugs that work. One for the fridge and one for the tv. The floor is lumpy (waterdamage?). The door doesnt shut proberly, it has a 1,5 cm gab for bugs to get in. The beach is stony and shallow, and not for bathing. Dont stay here

Good clean bungalows
Good sized bungalow clean with good AC, right on beach with decent little pool available to, friendly staff, quiet end of beach so a little bit of a walk to the main centre in Lamai but if you don't feel like walking there's plenty of Tuk tuk's around or they have motor bikes for rent at reception

It was a good stay for our purposes. We were out touring during the days and were mainly there at night so a clean cheap room was exactly what we needed! The staff was helpful as well.

Hotel barato
No limpiaron la habitación, el personal es frío... Nada que ver con los tailandeses super amables de otros hoteles, había billar pero siempre estaba ocupado... Además lejos de lamai tienes que caminar más de media hora para llegar. El resort en si es pintoresco y las habitaciones están limpias. Se recibe por lo poco que se paga, pero por 10 euros más a la próxima me hospedó en otro sitio.

A veces puede haber una ligera barrera de comunicación entre los clientes y nuestro personal tailandés que pueden crear y situación incómoda. Si nuestros clientes tienen cualquier pregunta que sugiere que hable con cualquiera de Sak o yo mismo, ya que ambos podemos hablar con fluidez Inglés y tienen un gran conocimiento de la isla. Located in a serene and tranquil corner of the Lamai beach,this property offers a laid back ambiance with fine and cozy rooms in a pristine environment,the owner i wish should have been more interactive,asked us about our plans,he was quite prosaic and kept to his affairs.Wished the property had a credit card machine,but considering this not to be having too many rooms and the owner not hellbent on marketing the property,do not see the request to be implemented anytime soon.The owner was kind enough not to charge us as i intimated him about one of the temporary wooden see through near the window broken,Overall a pleasant experience.
