« We enjoyed our stay here immensely! The property was larger and prettier than we realized. We enjoyed exploring the property (and felt safe doing so). We were thrilled to meet some very social cats walking around the grounds, and all of the people we encountered were very friendly as well. The area was somewhat tucked away, so the evenings were perfect for stargazing as there wasn't much light pollution. We would definitely stay here again. »

« This place was adorable. Just like the photos. Bed comfortable and full size was fine for me and my husband. Check in was a breeze. Clear instructions for check in and out. Well stocked. We could hear footsteps and the toilet flush upstairs but no big deal. Nothing I can think of to change. We hope to come back! »

« Great location for a weekend getaway in Charlottesville. Beautiful and comfortable house. We knew in advance the train rolls by a couple times a day so was not surprised. It was fine for us but definitely rattles the house. A few things would put it over the top. More than 4 hangers for the whole house. Hooks in the bathrooms for towels. Couple sharp knives. Overall a very try nice stay and recommend it. »

« Although not the property I intended I'm renting, property management was diligent and finding a replacement, I was uncomfortable and sitting on the quaint they're simply because of the number cobweb on the deck underneath the home. Not so much a property issue but more of a resort issue, I made a reservation for a horse-drawn carriage ride only for them to cancel it 30 minutes prior because of lack of carriage availability. »

« April reservation for July was canceled 2 days prior to check in. Still waiting on 1 day credit after being upgraded for 2 days. Check in is at 4 but cabin wasn’t ready until 6:15 even though previous tenants left the night before. Employees were not friendly at all. No fireworks on the 4th as told on phone. It was quite a fiasco. I would not recommend it. Better value at a beach »

« We had a good time and the property had some fun things to do. Unfortunately, we didn’t know we had to book most things (horseback riding, golf cart reservations) well in advance as there was no guidance and this was our first time there. It would have been nice to get accompanying info on reserving/booking in advance. The resort had an event the weekend we stayed, making it very busy and congested, but going a less busy weekend would have been better. The yurt was nice, but neighboring yurt...

« We wanted a peaceful getaway near vineyards. Merrie Mill and Barboursville were close by and it was perfect for us. Highly recommend. »

« My husband, mom, and 2 year old daughter enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for my daughter to play inside and out. We had fun tossing the horseshoes outside and loved the close proximity to Walmart and multiple wineries. We will definitely come stay again if we make our way back to the area. Thank you!! »
