« The property is beautiful, it is in the jungle. There are lots of animals, we saw tons of birds, geckos, frogs (they chirped all night), chickens, cats, and heard at least one cow every day. The room was spacious and had a fridge, a burner to cook on and a good bathroom. I made the mistake of using the washer, as it was outside and thought it was OK and had to pay 20. « Dan was a great host and the breakfast each morning was amazing. It felt like we were in actual Hawaii and not just another tourist hotel. he also showed us around the property and took extra time sharing about Kona coffee and gave us some delicious fruit right off the tree. »

« The toaster remains broken. A couple tray tables would be nice as there is no place to eat dinner. It is no longer a quiet place as our sleep was disturbed every morning at 4:15 am, 5:00 am, 5:30 am by the loudest diesel truck I’ve ever heard, and headlights shining in the bedroom window. The other unit no longer rents to tourists, but is instead rented to a working farm family with little children. Their noisy diesel truck and gator vehicle come and go all day. »
