« Fough East was the first lodging for our family trip in Ireland and it was perfect! Christa warmly welcomed us upon our arrival. The home and the surrounding neighborhood were idyllic. It was the perfect home base for our excursions to Galway, Clifden, Kylemore Abbey and the entire beautiful Connemara region. The home itself was lovely and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed all that the village had to offer. Highly recommended! »

« We had booked for a 10-day stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, gracious, stately, and oh so comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with anything you would need to cook. We are already talking about booking again next year. The owner and host is delightful and very accommodating and helpful. I cannot recommend it enough. »

« We had a great stay in this beautiful house. The view is exceptional, especially at high tide, and there are lots of lovely little walks nearby. There are also some great places to visit, including the famous Kylemore Abbey and a nearby castle.The house is very comfortable, with a large and practical kitchen, perfect for preparing family meals.
