Fough East self catering holiday home is a friendly, welcoming and quiet place to stay. With room for up to 10 guests. It takes a two-minute walk to enjoy a good pint and Irish music in Oughterard’s pubs with lovely food in the restaurants. We are located very close to the centre of Oughterard and just 27km from Galway city. Oughterard is an attractive, bustling village on the shores of one of Ireland’s premier fishing locations, Lough Corrib. The Lough is considered a trout angler’s dream. This is an ideal place to stay for touring the West of Ireland, or relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds us.The style of the cozy rooms offered in Fough East is a mix of modern and country.
