« We didn’t get the house we originally paid for, the house stunk , had a spiral staircase, one of the doors didn’t lock, the bedrooms only had a lamp, also the electrical outlets were a little scary. The downstairs bathroom did not have a doorknob.We stayed here only because this was the second time of a rental company switching houses on us in this area. Not a pleasant experience during Christmas break. »

« My wife ordered a hamburger at the restaurant and it was tough, but manager would not remove charge or discount it. my grouper sandwich was great though! The room was a great price and very comfortable and the gentleman at front counter was very nice and accommodating! »

« My husband and I stayed at Brownwood over the weekend, while visiting my parents in The Villages. The hotel was very clean and updated. The people were very nice and friendly. The pool was spacious and beautiful. The only drawback was it is not quite walkable to Brownwood Square, but I knew that when booking. The good part is Brownwood Square is only 3 minutes, by car. This was our first time at the hotel and I would gladly return in the future. »
