En arrivant, de l'extérieur nous étions un peu inquiet. Par contre, une fois à l'intérieur de l'immeuble nous avons été sous le charme. Wow. Qu'elle belle réussite! Le meilleur vieil immeuble rénové que j'aille vu! Splendide! Le hall est superbe! Quelles merveilleuses idées les statues et les trains!!! Quant aux chambres, les lits sont confortable. Les draps doux. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Vraiment, superbe! Recommandé!!!

The property is unique having been crafted within a train station. Some of the rooms are contained in an actual train. So different!

It was clean and in a good location, however there's a giant hole directly across the street due to construction and the rooms are about as large and elegant as a Best Western. Don't expect the royal treatment at this Crowne Plaza...

Can not get help at the hotel or the IHG customer service line. Called the front desk the phone rang for 10 minutes and no one answered. Went downstairs could not get any employee to acknowledge us. Called the IHG customer relations and they gave me the run around. No hot water at the hotel. Really unpleasant to get ignored by the staff and then not even have basic amenities like hot water to shower. After talking to other guests no one had hot water that day. Completely unacceptable.

My room wasn’t fully cleaned when I arrived! I was sent a text msg asking how my stay has been since I arrived and I addressed the issues, they called the room phone to ask about my concerns and I let them know that it was dirty and the tub drain wasn’t plugged in and that the air conditioner storage door was unsecured ! It was very low class ! My trash cans didn’t even have trash bags ! And I was charged a 50 dollar fee when there was no damage to the room. I will never book with Crowne plaza again!

This is not the experience we wanted you to leave with. The 50 was a hold for incidentals we collect that from all guest. Upon checking yours was used towards your valet fee of 50. Again we truly apologize and hope that you will give us a chance to make it right .

The beds were squeaky. Staff was not very responsive. Area under construction. Location was great. Parking expensive $50 for valet which is expensive for the location. Room was clean and location is unique as it was old railway station.

Lady was nice but, ceiling paint coming off and cracking. Very cold in the room even with the heat on. Very thin walls. Bed always making noise when you move like it’s going to break. Very small room for how much you spend.

The parking was ridiculous. You do not get any assistance with your bags unless you choose to valet. When I came in there was a lady at the desk, yet I stood there for 10 minutes before finally asking for help to check in. As soon as I was given my keys for my room, I was notified that I had just been charged for my stay, even though they said I wouldn't be charged until checkout. The room was dirty. There were drips of liquid down the bathroom sink cabinet, the tub was brown, the drop ceiling was missing and our nightstand had white spillage all down the front and sides. The indoor pool was so uncomfortably cold, that I didn't even get in. My kids got out after 5 minutes, and I watched every family come and go almost immediately. We got out of the pool, only to find a pile of dirty towels on the ground and zero clean ones. We ended up having to pay to go somewhere else for our kids to swim in the evenings.

Always fun to stay in the train cars and super cool hotel. However they no longer do room service, in fact, none of the restaurants were even opened and the parking garage across the street has been demolished which means you have to valet at $50 a night

Initially was given the a key that didn’t work along with multiple other guests checking in at that time. We also had to go back to the front desk and talk to multiple employees to finally get our breakfast vouchers which they initially said was not included.

I booked a train car, and when I got there I was told that the room I booked was not available, so they “upgraded” us to a different room. That room wasn’t bad, but it was certainly not an “upgrade.” I was asked later how things were, and I said I was disappointed with the room, since it wasn’t the one we booked. It seemed overpriced since it wasn’t the train car that I spent extra on. That person told me that I never booked a train car, and the one we were in was the one we had booked all along! I was told this by two different people, even though when we checked in, I didn’t say anything at all about and the person checking us in was the one who brought up the room change, so we obviously did, and that was what made me more mad than anything. Another employee that we talked to made it sound like it was a normal occurrence to have people book these special rooms and then not get them because they are oversold. Accommodations are fine, but their business practice needs some work.

Worst hotel customer relations nightmare ever!
The hotel didn’t utilize the fully paid for hotels.com reservation that I supplied upon check in. However, they charged my credit card for the entire stay. We paid $36 for the hot breakfast buffet and was even given the times for breakfast upon check in BUT was told in the morning that there’s not enough guests to offer a buffet. No apologies, no refunds. I’ve made countless calls to the hotel trying to get the billing issues resolved to no avail and now, we’re 10 days into it. Hotels.com has been of no use in resolving any of these issues either. To make matters worse, my husband of nearly 30 years left his wedding band in the shower. He realized it when heading towards the airport. The hotel was contacted immediately and referred to a website that deals with lost and found. After paying a sizable fee, we breathed a sigh of relief it was found. Guess what? As of today, the ring has not been returned just like the countless calls to the Crown Plaza’s manager asking for help in getting this resolved. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautifully unique upscale hotel and we had hoped to go back to stay in the train car suites in Feb ‘24 with our grandchild but unless they can properly address the current issues, it’d be a cold day in Hell before I’d stay there again and I’d have very serious reservations about handing them access to my credit cards because of how reckless they’ve handled the one they had access to up until this point. I’ll update you if we find resolution.

When we were checking in there was a man later we were told he was homeless he walked up to the check in counter and said to my wife and i " cute kid it would be ashame if something happens to her" Then he was casting a spell on us. This scared my wife to the point she didn't want to stay. Neat property but i wouldn't stay again. The rooms were average out dated but seemed to be fairly clean.

Shane, please accept our sincerest apologies for this situation! We certainly understand how this can be concerning and is not the experience we would want anyone to have. Since our property is centrally located in the heart of downtown, we do have security to deter this type of walk-in traffic, as much as possible. We stayed in a train car room. The accomodations were very nice. The staff seemed stressed out and boarderline rude. The valet was a hot mess. We had to wait an extended period of time to get our car out the following morning. The hotel was undergoing construction immediately outside the front door which detracted from our visit. If it wasn't for the train car ambiance, we prob wouldn't come back
