"What really makes Posada del Mar stand out is its location. Its perfectly located for its price. Literally a few minutes from the port. Close to all key spots in Puerto Ayora. Second thing is the loveliness of the staff. I loved them and they made me feel at home. I would return in part for their kindness The room itself was just ok. My balcony faced the city, not the sea, shower was a bit tricky (but did manage to get hot and cold water) and I had two single beds, but that’s also normal I think the room I chose. The lock to the balcony door was a bit tricky and old. So overall not super modern amenities, but don’t let it deflect you from booking there. If you stay in the Galapagos, time spent in your room is, or at least, should be minimal! "
