« An absolutely 10 for a retreat rental. Very private despite the owners occupying the top floor of this three-story building. The rental is for the entire second floor with private entrance, and a wrap around veranda with outdoor furniture, and a beautiful view of of the bay (Pender Harbour.) It also has a propane fire pit for those cool nights. Owners Michelle and Dave are wonderful hosts. Dave’s cinnamon buns are a must try. I suggest to order them upon check-in. Dave will have them ready...

« It's a clean well supplied kitchenette suite, with a small private hot tub and parking beside the door. Exactly as described in the ad, and just what we needed. Great communication by the host. »

« Exceptional host , great communication , very clean , brand new BbQ, quiet and peaceful , huge pantry and selection of dishes , beautiful bath thub with beautiful view . Only thing I would suggest the host to adjust the hot tub setting so it’s easier to access and manage . I’d rate this place a 4.8/5 overall 😊 »

« The host was pleasant. The location of the property was ok, the view was excellent. But, the property was misrepresented and was not a “luxury private villa “, instead it was a basement suite in a shared home. Unfortunately, the property inside and outside was poorly maintained. The black mold, pink mold, grease, hair, dust bunnies, and finger prints on windows and appliances was unhealthy. Lack of mattress covers, top sheets, fitted sheets was disappointing. Definitely not worth the money and...

« We enjoyed our stay. It was well located, comfy, well stocked, even without a range. The BBQ heated to only 375 which was a disappointment. Nice little garden space and sun seating outside. Janna »
