« More toilet paper in the room would be helpful. Soap next to the bathroom sink would also be nice. My wife reported wet sheets in her bed, so she moved into my bed (I'm not complaining). At 8:15 am, the fire alarm in our room went off. We were sleeping. It is an understatement to say that this was startling. The good news is there was no fire. I look at a trip to South Bass Island as an adventure, so all of this was part of the adventure. »

« Lots of dead bugs on the porch. Bathroom didn't seem like it was cleaned... It was nice to have a pool but it needed to be cleaned. Nice to have the burger place on the property, that guy was awesome. I had to park on the grass even though I was told that I would have a dedicated spot for parking. Maybe more signage to show where golf carts are allowed to park vs cars. Price changed on the original room we looked at purchasing. Should have pulled the trigger sooner I guess. « I did not see in the listing that there was not an refrigerator. coffee maker, or microwave in the room. There is not a common room at this resort, so no coffee maker or microwave available. There is a small bistro with coffee available for purchase at certain hours. Also, they do have a burger hut in the front yard of the resort during certain hours. With that said, the resort is very clean and staff are friendly. »

« The beds were very comfortable, and the view was amazing! We were under the impression that because it was a VRBO that it would have the amenities of a typical VRBO, like coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. There was no complimentary coffee in the lobby either. Only for purchase. There was also a tip envelope in the room with the housekeeper's name on it, just like in a hotel, but the room did not get cleaned while we stayed. No linens, trash removal, extra toilet paper, tissues etc. »

« I do not recommend this hotel, as soon as we arrived, we asked for a golf cart. They said they didn’t have any. We checked into our room and we received a call and the receptionist said she found a golf cart. It was $120. We went down and it only had 23% charge. It barely got us through the night the next morning we woke up to shower only to realize the water was lukewarm not hot hot. the pool was drained and so was the Jacuzzi even though it advertises pool and Jacuzzi on site the TV had no...
