Take a deep breath of pine tree scented fresh air and come stay at our charming Fox Cottage! We encourage you to drop the weight of the world off at the front door and retreat into the beauty of the San Jacinto Mountains. Although located within walking distance of the quirky Idyllwild Village, peace and relaxation are yours for the taking at Fox Cottage. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely little cottage. There were nice little touches and holiday decorations inside that added to the cozy feeling. The area is quiet and the fenced in yard is great for our dogs.

The cottage was lovely and the furnishings were comfortable and attractive. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed our walks among the trees. We prepared our meals at the cottage and the kitchen is well appointed with a beautiful stove. The dishes are a charming pattern. It was a very relaxing stay at Fox Cottage.

My sister and I and our two dogs stayed here and had a really nice time. The home is very clean and nicely appointed. The neighborhood is quiet. We especially liked the large, fenced-in yard for our dogs. We would definitely recommend this place to others,

We stayed here a couple of days for our Anniversary. Very nicely decorated and quiet location. The king size bed was very firm and comfortable. It was nice having a fenced in side yard for our dogs. Kitchen was updated and well appointed.

We were in Idyllwild to pick up our child from the Arts Academy and wanted somewhere easy to stay with our other children and dog. The cottage was prefect for our needs. It’s a easy walk to the village and the fire pit was ideal for post dinner s’mores!

A lovely cottage. Well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the fenced backyard for our dog. Most of all, we loved the peace and quiet!

Cabin was spotless upon arrival. Everything seemed to be new. We were impressed with the space utilization. Two bedrooms/two bath in a small footprint but we never felt crowded. Full size shower and three TVs are added bonuses. Front patio was a good place to chill with our dog and enjoy a cocktail. Cafe Aroma just 1/2 mile away serves delicious dinners. I hope we’re able to return in the cooler months for a different experience.

The Fox Cottage was perfect for a get-away in Idyllwild. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to prepare meals. It was nice to have both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. The bedrooms were comfy and the bedding was perfect for the chilly nights. The fireplace was a nice edition, although we didn't use it. The room heaters were easy to work and provided comfortable temperatures throughout our stay. The living room was a nice size with a comfortable couch & chair, along with a dining table that could seat 4-5 people. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Wife and I had a very nice stay. Great accommodations and location. Very comfortable and cozy. Kitchen is very well stocked. Master bed was great. Bathrooms very functional and clean. Lots of attention to detail to make you feel at home. Quiet neighborhood.

The cabin is very charming, well equipped and decorated. The area was gorgeous of coarse. They were however a couple things that would have made the visit more enjoyable. The bedding was laundered with extremely strong smelling detergent/softener. You might keep in mind that some people are sensitive to the smell and allergic! Maybe consider using free and clear detergent. Also I was looking forward to a”quite” stay . I was not able to enjoy the quiteness of the area because the heater needed to run constantly and was very noisy. But overall the stay was ok.

This cabin was so perfect for our Mother/Daughter weekend get away! Super cute decor and very clean. The set up is nice because we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Great for a besties getaway or mother daughter like we did or similar; even a small family
 There’s a sofa and a chair, so it might be a squeeze for two couples. But do-able :-) it’s super close to the village center and easy to get to. The host was very helpful and made themselves available to us for any of our needs. We loved it! Definitely recommend.

This is a really nice little cottage for a couple or small family. The only drawback was the heating. We arrived Nov. 30th and the place was freezing cold. The wall AC/Heat units are ineffective and the unit in the living room never got the place above 66 after 3 days. There was no firewood starter kit provided so we had to spend >$50 in firewood to heat the living room to a reasonable level of comfort. Had we arrived in the dark this place would have been unlivable for the first night. We had to turn on all the stove burners and sit in coats and scarves that first evening to wait the hours it took to warm the place. The bedroom was really cold and the bed was freezing. Suggest mini-splits or some thermostat controlled heating source. Alternatively the PM should turn on the heating sources several hours before a guest arrival in winter months.
