Hello Dawna, we would like to apologize for your experience during your recent stay. The power to the room is controlled by a master switch which will supply power to the entire room once this switch is on, the second switch next to the main will control the lights, there are also bedside switches that control the lights in the room. We do have staff available 24 hrs a day should you need any assistance. We will also investigate the issue of the strong smell of cleaner and implement procedures to ensure we do not have this issue again.
