« It was our first stay in the Hot Springs area. The owner was so kind and accommodating. The kids (and some adults) loved seeing the small cows, horses, donkeys and goats. The owner even gave the kids buckets of feed and allowed the kids in the pen with the small goats. With adult supervision, of course. From grilling out, to having water balloon and water gun battles, this place was just what we needed. We plan to be back again next year. »

« The farm house looks really nice. It really is a farm house and sure feels like one. The house provides all you need. There is a car port which is a nice addition. The yard has some junk in it, like old washing machines and stuff (could be the neighbour's). Would be more lovely if this could be removed. »

« We loved everything about the Hillside Retreat, so much that me and my fiance wished we could have canceled the next leg of our trip to stay longer. We loved watching the goats and new kids; they were visible from the sitting areas inside and on the deck were so entertaining to watch. The bed was so comfy and great between the excursions into Hot Springs. The hot tub was great for star gazing at night. I loved the drive to and from Hot Springs, just be advised that the dirt road doesn't have...
