We had a great time in Honolulu and loved having this condo as a home base! Honest pros and cons:Pros:1. The location is pretty central to a lot of the western part of the island. We rented a car which made it easy to get around.2. The building is secure at night and we never heard neighbors or had any loud night time interruptions.3. The apartment was very clean and although others have mentioned roaches we never saw one inside or outside of the apartment.Our family of five slept comfortably on the four total beds. 4. Communication with the owner was super easy and when we had questions or any issues popped up (nothing major) they were not only responsive but went above and beyond to make our stay awesome! 5. Check in and out was a breeze compared to other stays we have had. Cons: (none of these would be deal breakers for us staying again) 1. The apartment and building are old and as such have some wear and tear character. Itâs nothing we couldnât overlook but it is something to consider if you donât like seeing old cracks or old curtains in the window. 2. The curtains in the one window in the bedroom are more like a small partial shade. We were always up early but if you wanted to sleep in it would make it difficult as you canât block out much of the sun with them. 3. Parking is on the 7th floor of the garage which can be busy at times. Itâs gated but going up and down can be tedious and it did always add 5-7 minutes to our leaving or arrival time.
