« This place was squeaky clean and nicely appointed with local flair. So cozy with throw blankets and extra blanket in the bedroom. Nice little seating area out back. The road was a little close for comfort but never kept me from sleeping. The location is very convenient for seeing the sights. There’s a nice Main Street downtown with some great restaurants. We had a great stay and would book again! »

« My family loved staying at the historic Barney Home. The location is great for visiting Rapid City, the Black Hills and the Badlands. The listing is accurate and the home was clean and well maintained. Water pressure was good, beds are firm, the off street parking is excellent and we loved having the backyard and fenced patio to enjoy at the end of a busy day. « We chose this location because it was outside of Rapid City, away from the traffic and noise. This is a pretty ranch property about 15-20 miles from town so, you’re out in the countryside which we wanted. There’s one horse on the property and he enjoys your attention. « We had a great weeks stay here. House is just like the pictures. Beds were super comfy and I loved the bath towels. House had plenty of space for 2 couples to share. Upstairs sectional has been well used but still comfortable. Close to airport, shopping and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the Black Elk Grill and Sally O’Malley’s Pub.
