« We had a wonderful stay at this property, very spacious with lots of charm and character! The house was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need.We were lucky to have good weather so we enjoyed the outdoor space with a bbq and a relax in the hot tub.The hosts were fantastic, great communication and very flexible. We would highly recommend and we will definitely return! »

« We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut. If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided. It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work...

Large and very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Glorious views from the house and colourful garden (in summer). Lots of walks from the back door or a short drive away. Good local shop and pub. Very responsive host. Nice welcome pack. Would love to go back. »

« Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect. »
