« Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size. »

« We stayed at The Weir House over Christmas and it was honestly magical. The setting is absolutely idyllic — right next to the river with beautiful views of the rapids, Yat Rock, and the little cottages twinkling with Christmas lights on the hill. The house itself is stunning. Spotlessly clean, incredibly spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was so well equipped with every piece of kitchenware you could ever need — the owners have clearly thought of absolutely everything....

« This place exceeded our expectations. The cottage is spacious and cosy at the same time. Beautifully decorated and very private. Everything in the cottage looks brand new, even though they have been in the business for a few years, but more importantly, the private garden was perfect for our dog (labrador)! The host, Sue, was lovely and very helpful. The area is lovely to explore and there is a farm just down the road where you can buy local produce. Definitely will come back again! »
