« The view was spectacular, there are some deck chairs and we loved the place. The kitchen was decently equipped but better for pre prepped food. Take tea and coffee, none there. We also experienced the sulfur smelling water although it was not too severe. Beds were comfortable, We would definitely book again. »

« Really neat home that fueled lots of fun and even a ghost story or two from my kids. Great for families wanting to do reunions etc as multiple masters are there. Town and supplies are less than 10 minutes away but its very private. Beautiful star gazing »

« This place is amazing! The host has all the local hook ups and anticipates your needs. Everything is well stocked and ready to use. Great place to stay on Orcas. »

« Hundreds of carpender ants throughout the house. Crawled on guests while they were sleeping. Were in every room of the house. Carpets in bottom right bedroom smelled. Tap water in house would benefit from filtration to improve taste. Was difficult to access entrance code and had to call host. Email with entry code should be optimized for mobile devices. »

« We had an amazing time! This was a perfect vacation spot with the most perfect host with great attention to detail. The host is extremely thoughtful and easy to contact. All you need is your family and some clothes. I can’t wait to go back. »

« What an absolute delight Kangaroo House was! Charles and Jill were the sweetest hosts one could hope for, the property was very accommodating of any special needs, and any issue was taken care of promptly. The room we stayed in (Nuthatch) was perfect for our needs and very quiet and private. Watching the birds on the feeders (and the squirrels sometimes too) in the morning was so peaceful. They have plenty of nice outdoor seating to breathe in the island air and relax as well. Breakfast was...
