Auberges à Hedgesville

« Property was clean and as described. It was close to our event for the weekend. Only suggestion would be paper towels in the kitchen. »

« House is not directly connected to the Potomac river. That's all private property so you have to go to a common area to launch a boat or fish. »

« This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

« This place is perfect just to relax in the quiet peaceful private place in the woods.Close to Berkley Springs for a nice day out ,close to fishing and tubing at Bass Masters, close to parks for horse back rides, hiking cookouts. Short rides to shopping and restaurants, also near miniature golf,go carts and pool.Booked two times this year .Will return !! »

« A beautiful spot in a very nice community! We loved having such a nice view of the lake in front of the house. Very quiet and peaceful and the hot tub was great! The area rugs had quite a few crumbs near the couch and the dining table, as the roomba vacuum did not seem to do the job on the rug areas. The wood floors were very clean though! I ended up vacuuming myself on the first night with the regular vacuum in the cabinet by the door. We had some issues with the TV in the living room as well...

« The hostess was amazing! Very detailed and the place was just perfect! »

« Clean rooms and towels. Comforting but very roomie. »

« The property was great! Everything it states is accurate. The only thing we couldn't find were board games, but there was plenty to do. Even responded quickly when I asked about how far we could walk through the woods! »

« The stay was good, we would rent a cabin again. At this property an extra roll of toilet paper would have been appreciated. We didn't use the hottub, we enjoyed the fire pit. »

« Everything was great. We had a small problem because we lost a key to get into the property, but people at the resort helped us get in contact with the owners and we eventually go back in. Though we could not enjoy all that the property had to offer because of some temporary physical issues, it was a great place to stay. I highly recommend this property. »

« The structure was good but it's a lot darker inside than expected, even with all the lights turned on. There is a lot of junk in the woodshed and in the yard that lent the entire property the feeling of being rundown. Also, there's a lot more cleaning that could be done. There were cobwebs all around the outside of the door and the front porch which could be cleaned up with one quick brush. Also, and I fully understand that it is an animal friendly property, but the smell of wet dog was so...

« Wonderful cabin in the »

« I was a little put off by the smell of dogs, i actually got spray from the store. All thr coffee mug except one had broken handles and all of the chairs around fire put were broken. Hot tub was fine but i was under the impression it was more excluded than it was. I was actually a little disappointed unfortunately. »

« This cottage was a great little get away for me, my husband and our pup for a few days during the Spring. The home was well equipped, and very cozy. There was a major ant issue in one of the cabinets by the front door, which we mentioned to the owner, but we just left the cabinet closed for the few days we were there. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, etc. We had asked in advance if firewood was provided, and were told no, so we brought our own...only to find out there were TONS of downed...

« As expected. Very nicely appointed for a cabin in the woods. Did not use the pool or other amenities but they looked nice. »

« Great location, quiet, surrounded by trees - exactly what I needed when moving and had a few days between closing on the sale and closing on the purchase. Being able to have my fur kids was all that mattered to me, but the house was even better than expected for my friend and I too. Thanks so much! »

« This cabin exceeded our expectations! The host was outstanding, always friendly, attentive, and quick to respond. The cabin was extremely clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and spend quality time with family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended! »
