Nestled in the serene surroundings of The Woods Resort in Hedgesville, WV, this stylish and peaceful cottage is the ideal getaway for those seeking relaxation and outdoor adventure. Inside, you'll find a beautiful fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. Whether you're curling up with a book or enjoying a quiet moment by the fire, the ambiance is sure to make you feel right at ease. For your convenience, there's also a dedicated coffee bar, where you can brew your favorite morning cup and start your day off right. In the evening, head over to the cocktail bar to unwind and enjoy a drink while taking in the peaceful surroundings.

Step outside and you'll discover a charming fire pit, where you can gather with loved ones to roast marshmallows, listen to music and enjoy the starry sky. Grab a towel and head to the new hot tub! The cottage also offers a grill for outdoor cooking, so you can savor delicious meals while soaking in the natural beauty of the surroundings. If you're traveling with your dog, you're in luck – this property is dog-friendly, allowing your furry friends to join in on the fun.

Note: You will see a hot tub on the deck, but it's currently unusable. Sorry!

During your stay, you'll have access to the members-only Sports Center, the perfect option for a wintery or rainy day (and just a 5 minute walk from the cabin). The Sports Center includes:
- Indoor heated swimming pool
- Large whirlpool
- Tennis court
- Racquetball court
- Multi-purpose court for volleyball and basketball
- Fully equipped exercise room with free-weights and many workout machines

Note: because the Sports Center is for members only, we need to set aside guest passes for your use. We’re charged a per-day fee for each guest over 5 years old – but we’re happy to provide these for you free of charge! If you plan to use the Sports Center, just call or text us that morning and we’ll be sure they set aside passes for you and your group.

1. The Woods Golf Course (distance from house - 5 minutes): Renowned for “fun and fair” golf, the 18-hole championship Mountain View course is perfect for low handicappers and the Stony Lick mid-length course for the rest of us!

2. The Old Roman Bathhouse (distance from house - 30 minutes): Home to a mineral spa that has been in use since colonial times, the park’s Old Roman and Main bathhouses offer a wide selection of spa services, including massages, saunas, baths and showers.

3. Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 40 minutes): Offers hiking, fishing, and golfing, with beautiful views and various trails.

4. Berkeley Springs State Park (distance from house - 25 minutes): Known for its natural mineral springs and spa services, it's a lovely spot for relaxation. Don’t forget to stop by the Fairfax Coffee house or The Country Inn while you’re in town!
