« Wrote to them asking for early check in around 1pm for 3pm check in, no reply. Not a problem, early check in isn’t a guarantee. Get to the property 10 mins before check in and no one is there, wait around for 30 mins, no one there, no one answering in the app, no one picking up the phone. By 340 called Vrbo who canceled my reservation around 4pm the property called asked if I left, I said I did and booked somewhere else, no apology, no reasoning, just “ok” and hung up. « Lucas's property on Lake Laurel in Lennox was perfect for our familty getaway in the Berkshires. The house layout (4 bedrooms with two on the first floor and two on the second) really suited our needs as we had two adult couples and an infant. « The home is way more private and beautiful than I knew to expect from the photos. We were really kind of blown away. What a beautiful place in a beautiful home in a beautiful town with a gracious and responsive host. The house is a short (7 or 10 min) walk from downtown Shelburne Falls where there are numerous diners, cafes, restaurants and shops. I’m a cyclist and there were amazing rides immediately accessible right out the front door - I did 25 to 35 mile rides each day, road and mixed/gravel...

« Great place to stay! Very cozy & comfortable with a creative flair to the decor. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to general store and nearby wilmington. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with lake views!! Our only recommendation would be to keep a path around the firepit down to the dock mowed/trimmed. « We wanted a three day getaway where we could make our own breakfasts, walk to a great restaurant for dinner, spend time hiking/walking in nature. We got all that (recommend dinner at The Station, a leisurely 5 minute walk from the townhouse), and much more! There’s a great bakery down the street - be sure to get a monkey bread muffin - decadent and delicious! Jeff and Melanie were terrific hosts, warm and welcoming, made sure we got good tips about local hiking. The town house was as advertised...
