« Beach chairs, towels, etc. available. Very short walk to local beach access. Or short drive to other beaches. Even shorter drive to a neighborhood general store for any staples, cold treats, and fresh poké you want. And it’s called Mango Cottage for good reason; we arrived at the tail end of the season and enjoyed at least a couple varieties and ripeness of mangoes, all delicious. Hosts were very responsive and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend! »

« Owner was on point in making sure we located the property and were able to get in without issues.Property was a very nice size for two people wishing to relax and not have to listen to the sounds of traffic/people etc. Also the location was just right for accessing Kona and pretty well equidistant drive to the other attractions like Volcano National Park and some valleys as well as Hilo. We had a nice view of the ocean framed by the trees. If/when we return we would gladly stay here again. »

The cottage has everything you need, it is very comfortable, and the view and the surroundings are beautiful. Todd and Madeleine were very gracious hosts.
