« Good hotel, bed are confortable. Restaurant for the diner is good too. The breakfast needs to be improved. I should be able to select what I would like to eat & toast my breads myself. I lost 2 times more than 10 min in the morning to order & get what I want »

Staff and service were very good but it would have been useful to include parking information in the preliminary information as there is no parking on site. The room and facilities were adequate, good value, but a bit of redecoration in the shower room is needed. The road was very noisy with heavy lorries from late at night and early morning. »

« We had an absolutely lovely weekend staying at The Royal Oak. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The scenery was breathtaking and we had a lovely view from our room. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. This is a traditional pub, very cosy and again nicely decorated but retaining its traditional charm. The landlord and landlady were extremely helpful. Above all, this is dog friendly accommodation, a must for us. We would definitely stay here again. »
