« Loves little cottage, great for couples who wish to stay and enjoy their own company. Like a Second Honeymoom. Cottage is well equipped, with little extras that complement your stay. Wildlife in and around area, plentiful activities for couples, short drive to other destinations. Comfortable bed,clean and tidy room. Highly Recommended. »

The accommodation itself was warm, clean and had an amazing view. The attention to detail within the cottage didn’t go unnoticed, even the abundance of treats in the fridge. « Meredith and Chris are amazing and very hospitable hosts. The cottage was the perfect location to rest, relax and unwind from busy everyday life. Very spoilt receiving home made brownies, jam and sourdough bread. Appreciated all those extra things like butter curls, freshly baked goods, fridge and pantry items and firewood. We felt very relaxed and welcome at little bird cottage. »

« Overall its a pretty good place, and with the animals and creek swimming hole, it really was a wonderful stay for my 10yr old grandson. But there were just a few things that may be need a re-think by the owners: 1. The main bedroom was extremely hot and it wasn't even hot weather - mid 20s. The fan in the room made no difference, and the A/C in the lounge had no impact. 2. There is a front and rear entrance to the house. The front entrance is not covered, so anything left on the verandah is not...

« We stayed in the bowerbird cabin and it was magical. We’d go back in a heartbeat. The area was serene and there was wrap around windows, seeing the trees, hearing the birds and the rain drizzling the entire time felt like we were in another world. The ambiance of the warm lighting and little electrical imitation fire place was cosy and we spent many quiet moments snuggled together under a blanket on the couch in front of it. The cabin was a perfect base for our hiking trips. Exploring the land...

« Staff communications mix up placed us in an upgraded room and an hour later we were told we had to shift rooms the next morning. Staff helped with the move.Room lacked table and chairs making do with 2 lounge chairs and a tea trolley. toilet ran out of flushing water on several occasions during the night. Bed OK but doona much too heavy. Lovely setting, too bad bar and restaurant only open at weekends. We would not return. »
