« We would highly recommend a stay at Moorhens Rest. The check in process was smooth and the house itself was fitted to a high standard with everything you could need. Situated by the lake, it provided a lovely view to wake up to and we enjoyed walks around the lake every evening. There is plenty to do for all of the family with access to a range of facilities on site including a games room and tennis courts. We very much look forward to staying again in the future. »

« Nice and clean, good location, hosts were friendly, chickens were lovely to look at next door, their eggs were delicious. We only stayed 1 night rather than 2 because of the bad weather , all the forest walks we wanted to do were closed, and because of family events, but this was no reflection on the accommodation, and we would stay again. »

« The family and I loved our stay in this lodge. It is a lovely setting on the lake and had everything we needed for a relaxed holiday. It was very spacious with room for all.
Phillipa and her team were on hand to help should we need it.
In all a lovely successful family holiday we would love to repeat. »
