« Check in was easy, though be prepared to submit a photo ID electronically before receiving check in info. Upon arrival, the location to shopping is hard to beat. It is right on Broughton St where the majority of the shopping is. However, parking is hard to come by. « I am a frequent visitor / fan of SSI. 2 to 3 times a year. We were at a conference on Jekyll and had a couple days left and chose to stay 2 nites at Ocean Lodge. Covered parking and across the street access from the beach were big draws. I thought it would be a fun change from the places we usually stay with our dogs and often family. « I liked everything, I was quite comfortable. I totally disliked all the stairs outside and the gravel walk paths. At 74 years old this is unacceptable. Will not rent there again for this reason only. »

« A very short walk to the beach, fun area with plenty of restaurants and shops near by. It did feel like they were slightly understaffed, but all in all it was a fun stay and we would likely go again. 4/5. »
