« We stayed for a long weekend at “Almost heaven”. We really enjoyed the location- just a walk across the street to enjoy the dock and small beach area! (We brought our kayak and paddleboards and were able to just walk them over to get on the lake!) The location is great for a trip to the state park and close to town for necessities. « Our stay was perfect. Comfortable for 22..our 23rd guest brought a blowup mattress so they weren’t in the traffic flow. When something needed attending to they were spot on it. However there was no heads-up that the pool guy was coming. He came and went without warning or notice. Good thing no one was in the pool …. If you get my concern. Furnishing are well used and tired. »

« Very nice neighborhood. House had an odd odor of mothballs and fireplace exhaust fumes. Owners were very quick with communication. Docking slip area is a bit deceiving for paddle boarding as there's a lot of seaweed in the area. Wi-Fi was also a bit of an issue in general With no way to make outgoing calls on our arrival a bit concerning with no landline in the event of an emergency »

« Very roomy and comfortable. Very clean and well organized. Wonderful for families with children. Quiet neighborhood. Grandparents are not as tech savvy with the technology. Weather was 55-75 degrees. Ceiling fans and room fans were sufficient. Great porch seating and tables. The children enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Wildlife (deer) were quietly grazing in the back yard. »
