« This was a lovely rental. Hot tub was perfect after a day's skiing. Clean carpet, comfy beds, updated bathrooms and kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/dishes etc. It is an easy walk 2 minute walk out the back door to Down Under which is an intermediate slope. Lots of parking. Was really nice. »

« Great little spot for three younger people looking to explore the area. Four would have been a tight squeeze. Spiral staircase that is used to access 2/3 sleeping areas was also a tighter squeeze. Owner was communicative and responsive. Pleasant little weekend! »

« The inside of the house was very clean and very tastefully decorated. The view was out of this world! The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly. »

« Property, exactly as described, very clean, and well equipped. Great view of the lake from the porch and walking distance to an excellent coffee shop, pizza shop, and a subway. Very easy access to the lake crossing 219 and lake recreation rentals conveniently located across the street. Highly recommend and would definitely bring my family back here again. The host was easy to communicate with, check in and check out were a breeze. »

« What an amazing house. So much fun inside and outside. House has everything you need for a fun trip! « We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. « We went to this cabin/house as a retreat just to relax and read. We got to do that! The house is as pictured but with a few cobwebs around and the windows are in desperate need of washing (so as not to obstruct the view). The big bedroom was a little cold compared to the rest of the house. The fireplace in the living room was a bonus as we like a "live" fire. Firewood was easy to obtain in the area. Overall, we my wife and I had a good, relaxing time. Would go back to this place again. »
