Private home located in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the mountains. Located just minutes away from Deep Creek Lake, State Park, Wisp Ski Resort as well and many other attractions and restaurants. It includes a game room, gas fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, office area w/ wireless printer, Wifi w/ streaming options. The outdoor area includes covered parking, a hot tub, fire pit, grill, ample seating areas and a small fitness center. Ample parking for a boat in front of the garage.

The home is located on a beautiful mountain and therefore both the gravel road leading to the home as well as the home's gravel driveway are on an incline. Neighborhood roads and the home's driveway are plowed during inclement winter weather but it is still strongly advised that guests have 4WD or AWD when visiting during inclement winter weather.

Guests can park under the covered carport or on the gravel surrounding the carport. Guests may also park in front of the garage. Guests are allowed to park their boat on the property. Guests are not allowed to park on the gravel in front of the basement door. There is a no parking sign in front of this restricted space also indicating this.

Strict no pets, no parties, no third party bookings and no smoking rules.

Due to county ordinances and septic limitations, no more than 6 guests are allowed.

For your safety, we do have outdoor security cameras which monitor the outside perimeter of the home as well as each entrance. The cameras do not monitor activities near property amenities such hot tub, fire pit, etc.

This unit, located in the beautiful mountains does not have central A/C. For your comfort in case of unusually warm weather, there is a window a/c unit in the living room which circulates air throughout the first floor, ceiling fan in every bedroom as well as the kitchen (2), living room (1) and downstairs area (2), 2 large box fans, and even a large portable air conditioning unit. Please also visit climate websites to assess average monthly temperatures in the area.

The availability of the fireplace is seasonal (October 1 - May 1).

For your comfort, the home is regularly treated for pests. The hideaway is located in the woods and surrounded by the beauty of nature. Bugs come with the territory. Despite our best efforts, the occasional bug may enter the home especially if unscreened windows or doors are kept open. Keep doors closed and food cleaned up to limit attracting anything. There is bug spray located in the pantry of the home that can be used if absolutely necessary.
