« I booked this day, hoping to get away from my very busy life and get quiet. That is exactly what I got to do while I was there. It was raining when I arrived, and the owner met me at my car with an umbrella. « The guesthouse was built in 1934 and has been well taken care of. It still maintains its original character and charm with a few modern conveniences. Although close to busy Highway 24, it was amazingly quiet at night. Plus, it is super convenient for visits back to Colorado Springs or Garden of the Gods. « A weekend away spent up the hill from a few of our favorite places to eat and a 10 minute walk to the incline/barr trail. The host was wonderful and responsive, we enjoyed the hot tub and the fact it felt secluded while being right in town. The space is inviting and the bed was really comfortable for being small.
