« We had a bottom floor room with a door that led out to the patio which was right on the river…. It was so relaxing rocking in the chairs and watching the river rafting folks navigate the river!!! Beautiful place for quiet time in the morning!!! Also please visit Quirky Bird restaurant!!!! What a gem!!! Best Pizza we’ve ever had! »

« Just adequate. Room was clean, but smelled moldy. Property is dated and off the beaten path. Low volume day we were there. Skeleton staff had to wait for someone to come check us in. Was out of waffle mix. No protien offered with breakfast. Seems like they are barely hanging on, but doing bare minimum still. Not a plan for success in my opinion. »

« The maintenance of this property was quite poor. The air conditioning unit was super loud. The shower drain was clogged. The sink drain was clogged. The Bath fans had been disconnected and were inoperable. My reservation was confirmed for a handicap room, but when I arrived I was given a regular room on the second floor and there are no elevators. Overall my experience was quite unpleasant and I would never book another room at this location. »

« We were very impressed with the accommodations. The furniture, decor, kitchen was well equipped for a weekend getaway. The suite was perfect for 2 people and our teen slept on the couch, but ended up in the massive king bed alongside us the second night. The Lodge is a cool area for recreating and the bar (opening soon) was a hip little addition—LOVE the ceiling. We enjoyed eating on the back patio in the evening and we even had a visit from a black bear while sitting just outside the back...

« The room was large, clean, comfortable. The location was convenient and ideal for walking to downtown Sylva. Very pet-friendly, our dog was provided with a comfy blanket and a metal bowl for her water. Perfect. »
