« Overall the experience of staying at this VRBO was positive. The location was easily accessible and the home was well stocked with towels, paper products, kitchen supplies (pots, pans, mugs etc.). This is an older home which has been upgraded nicely to include modern comforts but still retains a rustic, comfortably lived in vibe. That said, there were two issues we felt worthy of mentioning. The cleanliness was somewhat substandard. I’m not one to take a white glove to window ledges or door...

« This home was gorgeous and clean. It was well-stocked with cooking essentials and had lots of thoughtful touches like dry firewood for the gorgeous fire pit, propane for the grill, games, books, coffee, etc.The beds were extremely comfortable and the towels were luxurious.The biggest perk for us, besides a stunning view of Cook’s Wall, was being 11 minutes from world-class climbing and hiking at Moore’s Wall. « We really enjoyed our stay. Love the layout & style. Home is very comfortable & we had everything we needed. Inside of home was very clean. Sheets & towels had a clean & fresh smell. Very nice! Air conditioning worked great! We enjoyed the porches & yard.We had a couple of house issues at the beginning but the host immediately called someone to take care of them. All resolved within a day of reporting. Well done. Morgan was very responsive & helpful! The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5...

« We loved our stay at Ann's place! The land is beautiful and peaceful. The house is well-kept and had all necessities. Ann was super responsive and helpful. And our kids loved the rope swing and the horses! »

« This farmhouse was absolutely amazing! It was clean and comfortable. The fireplaces made it so cozy. We will definitely be back. You don't need to leave once you get there but it is super convenient to town. Our dogs felt right at home and we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. »

« Fantastic long weekend. The house has great airy character throughout, appropriately stocked and functional kitchen, and great setting on Deep Creek. We enjoyed morning fire in the porch’s wood burning stove. Just an outstanding accommodation for our purposes of relaxing and exploring. »

« We love staying here for our annual fishing trip! The house is wonderful. The yard is extremely spacious and very kid friendly. It is always stocked with everything needed and very clean! »

« This ranks in the top five places we’ve ever stayed! Very comfortable guest house and the grounds were absolutely awesome!!! Several miles of trails with benches along the way. We highly recommend!!!! There are three cabins on the property that can be rented for a gathering of family and friends. This is also a lovely event space for weddings and larger gatherings. Not far from the Town of Rutherfordton and less than an hour from Tryon Equestrian Center.We will definitely return! »
