This was a great place to stay to visit the Western side of Olympic NP. The house is much bigger than it looks in the listing. It was probably the cleanest, most updated rental we have stayed in (and we’ve stayed at 7 places in the last 5 weeks). The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you can think of and has some modern appliances that make it fun. The couch a bed are comfortable, and there is a nice private outdoor space to sit by the fire table and enjoy the scenery.

This was a lovely place to stay, the pictures don't do it justice. Comfortable in every way, we felt both welcomed and completely private. It was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Can't recommend this place enough, hoping we'll get a chance to visit again.

Clean, Quiet, & Secluded

This place was fantastic! The communication from the start was top notch. The place was clean, quiet, and well stocked. My wife and I did some hiking in Hoh Rainforest, Rialto Beach, and Mount Storm King (Lake Crescent) and this was a great mid-point between the two. If you're looking for a nice, quiet and clean place around Olympic NP, look no further!

Wonderful Clean and Quiet Rental

This was a great rental. The owner was great from before check in answering a lot of questions about the rental and location. The rental was very clean. Had anything you would need for cooking and some staples including a cooler. It was a great value even had a washer and dryer. It looks much nicer than the photos. It was nice to have mini splits with AC at night as a few nights were warm. There is a nice back yard area with a propane fire which is lovely for eating by outside and chairs looking into the forest which looks just like the rainforest area. The owner was very responsive and lives on the property but we didn’t meet her. She provides her cell phone number if anything is needed. Forks was a great location to base a trip. We wished we had stayed more nights there versus moving to another area of the park.

Cabin with everything

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin in Forks, as a home base to explore La Push and Sol Doc areas. The cabin has all the amenities one needs and more. The outdoor gas fire pit was a relaxing place to eat the dinner we cooked in the well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable and Michele was a perfect host, available but gave us tons of privacy. We appreciated that there was a no dogs policy because my husband is very allergic to them and there was no trace in the cabin. Highly recommend.

Peaceful base for hiking Olympic Ntl Park

We loved staying here! Very peaceful and quiet. The gardens on the property were very pretty and there are outdoor seating areas behind the house and in the trees that are nice touches. House was very clean and had everything we needed (nice showers, comfy bed!). Forks was close enough to Olympic for us (we hiked Hurricane Ridge area and Sol Duc / High Divide). The house was also close to Rialto Beach which we also visited. All communication with property owner was warm and informational. Would definitely stay again!

June Trip to Olympic National Park/Forest

The property met or exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was nicely equipped allowing us to cook a variety of meals. The main grocery store in Forks was on par with most urban/city stores so no need to shop ahead unless you have very specific needs. The restaurants in town were very hospitable albeit with limited fare but overall very positive small town dining experience. Entire unit was nicely updated. We enjoyed the “bonus” of a secluded outdoor sitting area for cocktails. The small house is perfect for an adventurous couple since it provides a mid-way point of access for day trips to a variety of places in Olympic.

A wonderful find!

This property is everything described and more. We chose to stay in Forks so we could spend more time in the national park and less time driving to get there. The house is located at the end of a road so is somewhat secluded. The inside of the house is lovely. We enjoyed spending time on the deck outside where the view included a lovely garden and a forested stream. We highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay near Olympic National Park near Hoh Rainforest and several beaches.

If Forks is your destination, this is your place!

This rental feels like a cabin in the woods. It's located at the end of the street, and feels private and secluded. The 2022 remodeling was very nicely done and it's beautiful. The layout is open and spacious. Outside are adorable little garden areas, complete with twinkling lights that come on at dark. Host is very nice and super helpful. We were very comfortable here!

Bliss in the rain forest

Lovely home with well appointed kitchen. Luxury having two bathrooms even when just me and my spouse. Laundry is a huge plus too. Nice sitting area in the trees and a very quiet location. Enjoyed the home and the whole area.

Home Away from Home

Off to a good start.

This was our first experience with Vrbo, and we were delighted. The cabin and grounds were beautiful. and Michelle is a generous hostess. Her kitchen is well-stocked and she quickly came to our rescue when we couldn't figure out the TV. We had a wonderful time exploring the Hoh Rain Forest, and I'd love to come back again some day.

Spacious, Clean and Quiet

We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy Place. It was in a great location for exploring the Olympic Peninsula, especially La Push and the Hoh Rainforest. The house itself is very spacious. The kitchen is very well appointed; there’s everything you need, and more, to prepare all of your meals. The accommodations are very comfortable and the shower is blissful, especially after a day of hiking. The house is surrounded by trees, and it feels very private. We would definitely stay here again.
