We had an amazing time trekking out in the woods in the snow.Kitchen was well stocked and the treats, coffee and tea were a nice bonus. My kids enjoyed the extra games as well! « Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. « It was a charming farmhouse on a beautiful farm property with goats and ducks. The hosts made sure that all of our needs were met from electronic outlet extensions to kitchen utensils to bathroom supplies. There were even fresh-cut flowers in the kitchen for us to enjoy. We had a lovely two night stay. »

« My wife and I spent three nights here and overall had a great time. The hosts were thoughtful — they left wine and commemorative mugs as a welcome gift and were responsive when we had questions.Highlights: The glass room on the upper level is the best feature — quiet, peaceful, great for birdwatching (we spotted a baby deer!). The sauna is a nice perk, a bit tight for two but does the job. The lawn down to the pond is scenic; bring camp chairs or a picnic blanket. There is a bench as well....
