« The home is way more private and beautiful than I knew to expect from the photos. We were really kind of blown away. What a beautiful place in a beautiful home in a beautiful town with a gracious and responsive host. The house is a short (7 or 10 min) walk from downtown Shelburne Falls where there are numerous diners, cafes, restaurants and shops. I’m a cyclist and there were amazing rides immediately accessible right out the front door - I did 25 to 35 mile rides each day, road and mixed/gravel...

« Great place to stay! Very cozy & comfortable with a creative flair to the decor. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to general store and nearby wilmington. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with lake views!! Our only recommendation would be to keep a path around the firepit down to the dock mowed/trimmed. Thank you to the owners for making the stay welcoming and enjoyable! »

« The description of this property is spot on. It is stunningly gorgeous and we never tired of being on the patio, in the grass or exploring the many rooms of this authentic farmhouse. We loved how the original details are preserved, while having updated bathrooms and appliances. We had a group of 8-10 family/friends per night and then a family party with 20 people on the patio. « It was the short weekend runaway we needed and were looking forward to. It's a quick ride to Pittsfield but we decided to cross the border to Manchester, VT. The place was as described, quiet, clean, secluded but easy to find. The Lake was fantastic but, due to weather, decided against taking the kayaks out. Perhaps next time. Thanks to Rich for being a great and gracious host! »

« The pictures were absolutely spot on! The space was incredibly quiet and cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere—even in zero-degree weather. The hot tub was fantastic, and the heated bathroom floors were a luxurious touch. The WiFi worked flawlessly throughout the property. The chef’s kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making it perfect for cooking. Plus, the rental is conveniently close to town, and the breathtaking mountain views made the stay even more special. Highly recommend! »

« If I could give this a 10 star rating I would. The property is on a pond with screened in porch. 5 cozy bedrooms with lots of extras to enjoy. « I stayed here with my husband, two year old, and my parents to attend a wedding in Williamstown. It was the perfect quiet beautiful place to recharge! The two primary bedrooms are on the same floor as the front door, and the room with bunk beds is on the lower level, as is the kitchen. It was nice that the kids room got so dark for sleeping. »
