« The place was perfect for us and would have been even better if it hadn’t been cloudy. The sky deck was perfect for sky watching. The three separate spaces made it great for everyone to have their own space. Also the barndorium was great for evening entertainment with pool tournaments going all evening. The only sad part was seeing the dry lake but we weren’t there for the water so we didn’t mind. Really enjoyed our stay. »

« We rented this place for our family to gather for the eclipse! The kids had a blast in the pool, playing games on the lawn and catching toads after dark! The house manager, Martha made us feel totally welcome and helped us with all of our needs. It rained which made the separate entrances to the bedrooms a bit of a bummer but we survived! All in all it was a perfect place for our family to gather! »

« We had a wonderful time staying here! Oliva was an exceptional host. The apartment we stayed in was more than adequate for our needs. We were within walking distance of the Alamodome, and walked both day and night for 3 days to our conference. I will gladly stay here again, in fact, we will call this place our "home away from home" when visiting San Antonio! Thank you, Oliva, for being such a gracious host - for treating us like family. »

« I booked the Lamar property for my family to watch the solar eclipse in April many months in advance. Two days prior to our arrival at the property I received a call that the property was not available due to damages caused by a previous tenant, that they weren't able to repair in time for our visit. « VRBO called the owner of this property regarding the death of who booked this house three weeks in advance and he still refused to refund the stay. The property is overpriced due to the proximity to the River Walk. Too many items in the house made it hard to keep track of your own items. »

« Home is decent but area is not the greatest. Cleaning people did a very poor job. Found dirty towels and a very nasty crusty rag in the shower with a bunch of bars of soap with hair on them. Don't walk around bare footed broken glass all in the yard. Multiple door hands broken. The hot water never got hot. »

« Beautiful cabin and peaceful environment. My husband and I have stayed at many VRBOs and this was the best experience we have had. It would have been the perfect place to see the total solar eclipse if the clouds hadn't rolled in. Still worth it. We enjoyed the sky, trees, birds, butterflies and deer from our secure and serene location. We felt very much at home. The cabin was immaculate. »
