The property is French Mansard and so pretty. We loved our room that opened on to the pool. It was well appointed with a mini fridge, microwave and comfy chairs. We had a king size bed that was so comfortable and a jet tub that was super relaxing. The pool and pool area were lovely and we spent a fair amount of time there. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We plan to stay again!
Our room was excellent and very accommodating especially the jetted tub. My wife really loved it.
The pool outdoors was awesome too. But still need extra lounge chairs.
Also went for a walk around the establishment and it really needs an upgrade. The gazebo needed much TLC and so did other areas. For a place that puts everything on interior renovations the outside was sorely neglected.
Don't get me wrong but if I had to take pictures outdoors it wouldn't be the back surroundings of the Inn.
I have stayed at this property multiple times in the past but this time was completely different. The wrong room was given but we accepted that and were going to make the best of it. The whirl pool wouldn't start the maintenance man reset it and it tripped again immediately. Thought it was fixed but later attempted to use it again and it tripped again. The outdoor pool was closed until 3pm. The seating in the grassy area by the lake is no longer there. The couple benches by the lake were in poor repair. At the gazebo there was one lawn chair filthy and faded. It was supposed to be a two night stay but we were being bittwn all night by bugs. Didn't see bed bugs and it was a pet friendly room so assumed it was fleas but later killed two small bugs. Not sure if someone had previously left patio open or if it was fleas from a previous guest with a pet. We decided to check out early and when asked if they was a problem we explained. There was no apology, no offer of a different room. Then the man at the deak sent someone to check to see uf I had damaged the room before reurning my $100 deposit. I asked if this was common practice and he said it was. I've stayed there multiple times along with hotels in Canada, USA, and Cuba and have never had this happen. I have never had an experience at a hotel that I felt the need to complain about, but I feel like other customers should be aware.
I didn't like how the back doors were locked and had to walk around all the time to go to the pool the jet tub in the room was terrible it made a mess of water everywhere the settings didn't work to slow the jets down its a beautiful spot just laid out weird
