Nous avons réservé cet hôtel principalement pour ça et malgré un hôtel annoncé family friendly, nous apprenons en arrivant à 17:30 que les enfants sont interdits à partir de 18:00 (ils ont même semblé hésité à nous laisser entrer et sont venus avant 18h dire qu'il fallait sortir) mais qu'ils y ont de nouveau accès de 8 à 10 le matin, en plein sur le créneau du petit déjeuner. « Lovely pub and staying area next to it. We booked here as it’s a dog friendly place and enjoyed our stay. The team at the pub were brilliant, they were shutting the kitchen early as it was a quiet January Sunday (so totally understandable) but we managed to get an order in and the food was great. »

« The host responded promptly to our messages, all instructions were clear and the home was warm for us on our arrival. The space was cleverly planned to have everything you need. The views were beautiful and we were lucky to have dry days to explore Gibside and the Derwent valley. Lovely peaceful location, amenities close at hand. Thoughtful supply of books to read and general information. Very cosy and a tonic for the soul as so restful. »
