« We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together »

« Beautifully situated house in a beautiful area! Equipped with all conveniences. We were pleasantly surprised by the outdoor space/garden next to and behind the house.Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Lake District.The partly unpaved road to the house is fabulous but bumpy. Despite doable, even with a lower car, so don't let that put you off!We loved our stay and are inspired by the nature in this beautiful area. Lots of walking paths It was more than worth the trip from the Netherlands. »

« das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, umgeben von herrlicher Natur. Es wurde komplett renoviert, ist geschmackvoll hochwertig und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, ausserdem war es extrem sauber. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und können es absolut empfehlen! »

« Tucked away, with view of the lake and fells, this luxury accommodation provided the perfect setting for relaxation. It was everything I was looking for and more! The sheep were entertaining too! »

« What a lovely place with ample space for everyone. The was 5 adults and a dgo in our party and there was more than enough space for us. The barn had everything and more we needed and tue hot tub is a lovely touch. »

« The house is so lovely, it has everything you need and being in the centre of Penrith is just a bonus, found a few lovely places to eat and overall we had a great weekend. It is a house that I could easily live in. »

« Great family getaway! Everything you need is there in this beautiful farmhouse. Located near a major road that gets you anywhere easily, yet calm and quiet due to orientation of the flat and its thick walls. Very ideal as a starting point for wonderful day outings. Thank you »

« I only stopped for a night. As I was going from London to Skye's. Co-op right out front is definitely a plus. And no problem with communication with the owner. »

« We really enjoyed staying at this property. We went to a wedding up the road and used the house as a base for walking locally and in the Lake District. If you would like to eat at the butchers arms, we recommend making a booking for dinner- we missed out. The greyhound in shap was excellent though. »
