« This stay should have been great. The house itself is huge, each of the rooms are unique and there are gorgeous views. Unfortunately, we had an issue with the hot tub being dirty and the maintenance company and host were very apologetic, but nothing was actually done about it and I have had to complain directly to VRBO. « We were a large family group staying for a long weekend with pets.The house is in a beautiful location with stunning views around and across Ullswater. It is set back from the road, amongst trees so very well hidden and away from other properties. « Sheepfold Barn was the perfect location for my weekend with friends! It's rural location gave us the peace we all wanted and privacy to use the hot tub without concerns about people looking. It is located at the end of farm track but despite the recent wet weather it wasn't too muddy and was easy to navigate. It's interiors are to die for and the house is well stocked with everything you could need, we all came away wishing we could live there full time! Only issue was the heating wasn't working...

« The home was perfect for what we were looking for, which was just a home base to relax in and visit with family in the area. It has easy access to the rail station, grocery store, and downtown shopping and dining. The kitchen supplies were basic, but enough to put together some simple meals after a trip to the grocery store. The beds were very comfortable. There is a bit of traffic noise, but that’s really only because we were there in August and needed to open windows. We would stay again...
