The room itself was the smallest in the house but we found it more than adequate and were very happy with the space. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. « Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...

« Lovely place to stay- self contained accommodation with walk in shower, cloakroom, and generous bedroom. Room was cleaned daily. Lovely outdoor spaces, set in medieval Grantham. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We ate at the Piggy Bank which was about 5 mins walk away. 100% would stay again. »
