This nice old 1850 cabin home property is now available! Sporting a huge waterfall with cave and pond (not for swimming), professional stage, large yard, nice stone fire pit, VIP Bar/Lounge, yard seating for 90 people, 1 acre woods overlooking the great Mississippi River where you can camp and hike trails to scenic Gramercy park which also has amenities and more. (Note some amenities have upcharges, see below). Yes we allow pets.


In the home, the first floor master bedroom sports a King Bed with fresh 700 ct linen and new paint, it has a window AC, a 42" TV and 300 DVDs. You also have access to the dining room study with futon, this is also a nice cozy room for an air mattress or daytime office. There is also a large wooden sun porch which sports a 42" TV, study table/desk, old chair seating and window AC (ok for an air mattress). Included on first floor is also large wooden kitchen and nicely updated bathroom/shower/tub.

The remodeled upstairs bedroom sports a Queen bed and has a beautiful view of the Mississippi River valley and historic downtown East Dubuque. It has new carpet, new paint, a large closet, Roku TV, DVD player with 200 dvds, microwave and fridge with freezer and a window unit AC.

Downstairs in the remodeled basement there is another nice cozy room, with 42" TV and DVD, great for movies or gaming. This room has a very nice and comfy futon and a single bed. Sleeping up to 3, or more if you have kids. \

The outside Stage Right Bluff Room has a ministage, dry bar, loft with sleeping for 2. It has walnut woodwork on the ceiling and walls, and the side of the bluff on the west wall. Very nice room and super cozy in the winter. (upcharge of 100.00 per night)

All areas are clean and well kept as shown in photos! And bug free!

Outdoor there's a magnificent hand-built waterfall cave with pond (operational from May15th - Sept 15th), a huge professional stage, fire pit area, backyard VIP lounge/bar (available at an extra cost), waterfall walkway. In the woods above there are 4 campsite clearings (extra cost of 40.00 each) where you can pitch a tent and have a fire, gather free firewood in the woods. Beyond the woods lies a wonderfully upgraded city park called Gramercy Park. This area has new pavilions, restrooms, river overlooks, hiking trails, and new playground equipment. Call city hall to book a pavilion.

UPCHARGE FOR AMENITIES:

There will be an upcharge for the following amenities:

* Weddings 1000.00 (includes stage)

* Use of the EVENT CHAIRS: 250.00 per event.

* Use of the professional size stage: 100.00

* Use of the waterfall for professional photos: 250.00 per 2hr photo shoot (100.00 if a wedding is booked)

* Use of Riverview Campgrounds in the woods above (ask for prices)
* basement rooms in the home will be locked and off limits.

* Baptisms are welcome (as shown in photos), cost depends on attendance, please ask for details!

Note: The hosts/caretaker resides on the adjoining 1/2 acre property where a 35' travel trailer is located, this area is secluded by a 6 foot privacy fence, as shown in the property photos where there's a grassy lot and long wooden fence. Guests can park in the grassy lot if extra parking is needed, but again this is a separate property so it's not technically included, let us know if you need extra parking. What is included is the homes whole backyard with waterfall (presently not working due to repairs), stage, fire-pit and amenities as noted above, and 1 acre woods above for hiking or to let the dogs run loose.

Note the booking price you see is per day plus fees, 25.00 per person after the first two, cleaning per day 20.00, 10.00 per pet, and VRBO service fee.
