« The staff was so Friendly!! Clean rooms and the amenities were top notch. I liked the room service paper they gave upon check in where you could request items you needed and if you wanted them to come in the room or leave on the door. The pool area was very nice. My only critic would be the adult pool was not heated like the kid pool. The beds, pillows and couch was very comfortable as well. Overall, excellent stay! »

« Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. »

« As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...

« Everything was great except the parking. Doesnt seem enough. A specturm truck parked in the last Handicap parking spot. Which. He didnt have a placrad to be in. Which i have and was made to manuvare our large truck in your underground parking and walk a father walk. Was frustrated about that. Other room and staff were great. »
