Auberges à Driffield

« This is my favourite place to stay. Clean rooms with everything you need for a short stay. The food is amazing and plenty of choice. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend »

« The room stinks or urine »

« The Arms is a beautiful hotel, well maintained, in great shape, lovely staff and food and a nice room. The ONLY thing I would point out is that the tv channel options were limited and as my wife and I were fresh to the timezone it would have been nice to have some more channel choices when we couldn’t sleep. »

« Superbe hotel,très joli,très bon restaurant, seul soucis avec la chambre, nous étions directement sous les toits et il faisait une temperature irrespirable,a cause de la chaleur inhabituelle »

« Beautiful hotel and staff »

« Seule la personne a l’enregistrement était sympa. La nourriture est infâme les hash brown avaient un goût de rance les plats servis le soir sont immonde. La chambre est vieille il y a des grosses traces d’humidité sur les murs et les wc étaient sales. Le lit est la seule chose propre et confortable. Les chambres sont mal isolées et au dessus du pub. On entend la musique du pub dans les chambres. »

« Excellent all round food and accommodation »

« Letto comodo. Buona birra al pub con personale amichevole e simpatico »

« The room was very tired, wobbly floorboards, causing the wardrobe to rattle excessively. The bathroom again was tired, the shower was cold. Broken toilet roll holder. It was clean though. We were hardly in the room anyway, so it did what was needed. The fire alarm went off on the first night, which wasn't a nice wake up call. Luckily it was just someone vaping in their room. The staff were friendly though . I'm was about a 25 minute walk from the station there's a bus also. No 3 heworth cafe was...

« Room Comfortable, Noise could be heard from adjoining rooms though the hotel did provide earplugs. Good choice of beers in the bar and the Korean food provider served delicious food »

« The beds are fantastic as are the pillows. Very comfortable nights sleep. »

« Decent enough hotel for sleeping whilst working away for 2 nights. »

« Father and son stopover after two days of hiking during a long drive home. The Wellington Hotel was exactly what we needed — easy check‑in, no fuss, clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers, and a genuinely tasty breakfast that set us up for the rest of the journey. Simple, welcoming, and spot‑on. Highly recommended. »

« Très bel hôtel bien situé. Tout est impeccable: le personnel, les lieux, la nourriture. Tout. »

« 2nd time this year we have stopped here, the beds are super comfy, the rooms are clean, slightly old fashioned but in-keeping with the whole pub, a proper pub I may add. The staff are fantastic and cant do enough, the breakfast quality & service are amazing, I have been in 5 star hotels and have a food that is no where near the quality of this. On top of this there is free parking, which a massive plus in York as parking is very expensive and usually miles away from the hotel John »
