« Bon accueil. La chambre au rdc est au calme et propre ainsi que la salle de douche. Le plafond est bas, mais on ne se sent pas opprimé. Nous avons dîné au pub, très beau décors. Nous y avons bien mangé (éviter la purée). English breakfast excellent et copieux, à essayer au moins une fois. Le personnel ne parle pas français, mais très disponible cependant. »

« Booked a mid-week night away, our first stay here. Delighted with what we found: - good sized room (but would be good to have a socket or 2 by the bed). Clean and comfortable. Welcoming staff & owner. Good menu selection for our evening meal there. Right next to harbour and our room had sea views. Amazing breakfast - so much choice and loads. Even a residents car park. Would go back again. »

« Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean,cozy and modern room. Nice fluffy towels and soft bed sheets. Lovely and quiet. Breakfast doesn’t start until 10:00 which was inconvenient as we like to get an early start. Watch yourself on the driveway, it’s very uneven. »

« All good! Friendly and helpful team run a great pub and a very comfortable hotel. Beautiful part of Dorset, Plush is a quiet hideaway hamlet, the Brace of Pheasants is an ancient thatched inn doing everything well. Tasty supper, huge range of beers and breakfast to die for. Fantastic stay. »

« Beautiful surroundings, wonderful host and staff throughout. Comfortable stay with warm showers, large bed, clean and tidy. Good food in the evening too. The pub / hotel is sat within a very quiet and remote village. »

« Pros - wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, lovely sheets and soft fluffy towels. A lovely newly refurbished bathroom and lots of lovely hot water and nice toiletries. The food is superb, both dinner and breakfast, with lots of choice and cannot be faulted. Dogs allowed everywhere, which for us is a massive plus with 2 dogs. Opposite the Abbey so in a marvellous position for seeing the area by foot and parking is free as well Cons - chipped paintwork in room and bathroom, needed a re-paint...

« The Greyhound is in a lovely quiet village with lovely staff and as a solo traveller I felt at ease. The accomodation is not modern but is clean and tidy and in keeping with the building. The room was spacious add had that I needed. »

« The M of L is situated in an tranquil location well off the beaten track. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was fresh, beautifully presented and very reasonbly priced. Would definately stay again if the opportunity arose! »
