« Lovely cottage, with all amenities, just a few metres from the quay in Appledore. Appledore is a very lively harbour, with something to please all ages. »

« Such a cute, clean and well equipped accommodation. Decorated very tastefully. Four adults had plenty of room and privacy. Outdoor WC was handy too! Location is great. Walkable distance to shops and pubs. Quick ferry ride across to Instow for a sandy beach day. Highly recommend for a nice getaway »

« Absolutely loved our 9 day stay in the cottage, it was very comfortable and clean, Georgina and David were lovely hosts, very welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, everything you could think of was provided even a table tennis table to play. »

« A really lovely property very comfortable and spacious had everything you needed for a lovely relaxing break good position to get about Graham and Andy were exceptional host loved the scone cream &strawberries and we had some lovely strawberries from there garden our 2 doggy's loved the space to run around so they enjoyed there holiday too would definitely come back and stay in this wonderful cottage we were very lucky had fab weather »

« Plenty of space for 4 adults. The outside verandah was well used as it was so peaceful and quiet to sit out on. Three toilets to the property was a great advantage. The property is not overlooked. The journey to the property is along narrow lanes but with plenty of routes to choose from. »

« We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property...

« Perfect property to enjoy the views from lots of different rooms, with easy walk into the high street aswell for a dip in the sea and fab walks. The property has lovely bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, warm shower and even a loo with a view. Fab stay for the family. »

« We had the most wonderful, memorable stay. The location was great and we enjoyed many lovely local walks and activities. The cottage and farm were a total dream for the kids (and grown up) the trampoline was great fun, plus the swimming pool which was always just us 4 (and had lots of play things!) The kids loved feeding the chickens and quails and seeing the peacocks. The games room was well kitted out and great fun so plenty to do back at base on a wet day! Also netflix available and spacious...

« If you looking for a very comfortable family home, full of character totally recommend this one. Heaps of Beaches, walks and pubs close by. We were there during winter and it was glorious with the fire and warm kitchen. »

« I stayed here for a few days with my dog, the accommodation is small but i think the pictures reflect this so i knew this beforehand. The location is great, 10 minutes drive from Hartland Quay and approx 30 minutes to appledore/westward ho. After being out all day the hot tub was a nice place to relax! »
