« Primrose Lodge has everything you could wish for. The space has been thoughtfully and stylishly designed and is extremely comfortable. Everything provided for here - comfortable bed, huge bath, well equipped kitchen and a very efficient wood burner, with a generous supply of logs, that kept us warm and toasty through the recent cold spell. « We had a week in Dairy Barn. It is stylish and cosy, with pretty much everything we needed. We used the hot tub 3 times, which was a lovely treat, especially as we could enjoy the amazing view of the sweeping countryside too. Next time, we will try to time it for warmer drier weather so we can enjoy sitting outside more. My only gripe is that the only soft seating in the lounge area is a sofa bed. They are notoriously hard to sit on, and this was no exception. As an older couple, we like to sit...

« If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest. »

« Beautiful house in a quiet area. Garden was amazing and the pool was a big hit! The cleanliness though was very poor. When the sun shone, the cobwebs over the fireplace etc were shocking! Slug trails on the rugs most mornings. Dead flies in the display cabinet. The house just needs a really good cleaning blitz and then it would be much more comfortable. It also needs at least one electric shower, or at the very least, wall mounted showers as it’s very hard to hold a hand held one whilst...

« We had a lovely few days staying here. The house was really cosy and comfy, everything worked as it should, it looked great and we had everything we needed provided for us. All communications were simple and direct. Nice friendly pub across the road, lots of nice things to do with kids within 20/30 min drive or even less - Bodiam Castle, Bedgebury Pinetum, Rye etc. We will very likely be back to stay there again in the future. »
