« Our group stayed in all 3 properties and they are all beautiful and exceptionally well equipped. The grounds are stunning, with ample outside seating to enjoy watching the birds and butterflies. The swimming pool, table tennis & pool tables were a lot of fun as well. Fantastic walks on the chalkhill downs, the vineyard next door, great local pubs and friendly helpful hosts, we'd definitely stay again. »

« Nice location with a pretty garden . We were visiting during the recent long heatwave , we asked if we could have a fan as it was very hot in the loft area where you sleep , told clearly No !! I would suggest there should a fan in the property to make it more pleasant. We visited other places that had fans which made it a much more comfortable »

« Lovely little cottage, spotlessly clean and well placed for lots of places. The host left a very informative folder which was helpful, and came to introduce herself and make sure we had everything we needed. Would visit again »

« If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest. »

« Pond Cottage is very quiet and surrounded by lovely countryside. The property was very clean , well equipped and everyone was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed two excellent meals at Frasers Restaurant a couple of hundred yards away. This worked so well as one of us was on crutches. And our lively dog enjoyed some wonderful walks in the surrounding fields. Thank you for a really excellent few days break. »

« Beautiful house in a quiet area. Garden was amazing and the pool was a big hit! The cleanliness though was very poor. When the sun shone, the cobwebs over the fireplace etc were shocking! Slug trails on the rugs most mornings. Dead flies in the display cabinet. The house just needs a really good cleaning blitz and then it would be much more comfortable. It also needs at least one electric shower, or at the very least, wall mounted showers as it’s very hard to hold a hand held one whilst...
