« Great views from the bar and garden, and perhaps some rooms though not ours as we were facing out the back. Rooms are clean and functional but nothing to write home about, with bathrooms not dissimilar to the toilets in a school 20 years ago. Nevertheless, a good night's rest and great location if you're playing golf and the nearby Cleeve Hill golf course. »

« What a lovely find! The Shakespeare Suite is fantastic. We had Sunday lunch and would definitely recommend it. I’m gluten free and they catered for me no problems. The staff were lovely and friendly, chatted to us, were attentive and nothing was too much for them! Breakfast the next morning was great. Good choice and freshly cooked to order. »

« We were in the "old" part of the hotel and absolutely loved the quaintness & "creaky floorboards" of this place, but some may not - not sure if the annexe has these, maybe not. The room was pleasant, clean & the beds were very comfortable. We would have liked a couple more electrical sockets. « Gorgeous place. Great location. It is on the main road and you can hear traffic but it didn't bother us at all. The room set up was perfect for what we needed. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable!
