« Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). « We had a mixed experience during our three-night stay. On the positive side, the staff were the highlight of our trip. From the cleaning team to the restaurant and pub staff, and even the security, everyone was incredibly friendly and chatty, which we really appreciated. The location was also convenient for visiting local shops and restaurants. However, there were several issues that made our stay uncomfortable. « It was a good experience and cam clos to the real thing abroad. We are a bit spoilt having stayed in some superb lodges in South Africa and Botswana but the "safari" experience staying in the Aspinall Foundation Port Lympne parki was reasonably close to what you would find in Africa. "Chambre propre visuellement mais avec une moquette qui colle , la barre de la baignoire toute rouillée ou les contours des velux moisis . Chambre pas du tout isolée ou nous avons entendu les ébats amoureux de nos voisins de chambre alors que notre enfant était juste a coté ! Le petit déjeuner sucré est correct"

"Felt like being part of a cruise for some reason, the entertainment, size of the hotel, gave that ambiance. The rooms need to be refreshed (the bathroom was old) but all in all, we still had a good time in Folkestone so I'd still give it a 7 if I had to rate the experience."
