« I had a really nice, peaceful stay. I lost the email with the direct contact number, so im sure the issue i had could have been solved easily, if not partly, for my own stupidity. Sadly, there was no running water & there was no gas to use the cooktop. The keys that were left didnt open the door to turn on the gas. Thankfully, there are some lovely places for food very close by & a couple of bottles of water to boil the kettle & have a quick wash solved any real drama. I enjoyed...

« The property was exactly as advertised, spacious, modern, and full of light with views of the countryside. It was very peaceful. We used the hot tub on Friday and Saturday evening and we were pleased to know that it was emptied and cleaned before our arrival. There were small touches which we appreciated. « We absolutely loved our break away and will definitely be visiting again The hosts had thought of everything. A lovely welcome package including a bottle of wine and chocolate as well as milk and bread. Very thoughtful. The host greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly. « The lodge we stayed in ( badger lodge) was amazing. It came with everything you need to make your stay comfortable for a family of 4. The lodge include a washing machine, hoover, huge freezer and a hair dryer. The hot tub is definitely the highlight of the stay. A guy comes out and explains all the dials and is cleaned on a daily basis. The area overall is good, there is a play area for young children but not much for teenagers to do apart from a quarry trail. The only let down for this place...

« Our lodge was brilliant, lots of space inside, robes and plenty of towels for the hot tub. Staff were so friendly and helpful and everything was delivered and looked after perfectly. Lodge was really well equipped with everything we needed. Location wise being only 4 miles from Alton Towers was perfect for us and felt like a million miles away after a full day in a busy theme park. Would highly recommend staying in these lodges. »
