« It was great experience staying at this place. Right after we went to gala Yuzawa ski came back to the hotel and dipped ourselves into the large Ofuro in the basement. Smoking was not allowed inside or well outside the house so it was the only problem me and my friends faced during the stay but all in all we enjoyed our stay at the place. Place is warm and cozy. Recommend for friends and family or in groups over 5 people. »

« Never had such delightful hosts. Masao and Yasuko were always available for us. The lodge is confortable and clean. It's a little bit far away from the station and the shops but Masao drove us by car whenever we needed to. Furrhermore, at the end of the day you can also enjoy the hot Japanese bath. The extra breakfast was filling and delicious. We felt like at home and had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend! »

« Amazing experience overall. This is your home away from home. Place is very spacious, has a lovely retro vibe that brings you back to the 80’s. The owner couple went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable and memorable as possible. Breakfast was nice and fresh. The place has natural hot spring spa bath that’s available 24/7 which was great. « Location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the station and chair lift. Kitchen staff is very thoughtful. I stayed for 3 nights, although all 3 nights were hot pot for dinner with the same ingredients, the soup base was different for every night. Staff are super friendly, making you feel welcome. The only issue I had was on the first night when there kids staying and they ran around the whole lodge making all sort of noise until late. »

« Delightfully friendly and kind hosts. Very clean place. Simple rooms, with everything you need, and shared washrooms. Nice breakfast. The shuttle to the lift is nice (although also easily walkeable in 10-15 minutes). The onsen bath downstairs is a definite bonus. »
