« 高齢の母親と二人で宿泊。事前に連絡したからかもしれませんが、エレベーターから近い部屋にしていただき、移動も苦になりませんでした。夕食は食べ切れないほどの量、朝食も品数が豊富で、お米は「コシヒカリ」食事に関してはとても満足でした。スタッフも丁寧に案内して頂き、とても満足。今回2回目でしたがまた紅葉シーズンに行きたいです。 »

« Absolutely fantastic. It's beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were very warm and kind and made my stay very comfortable. My Japanese is very limited, but they took the time to carefully explain things for me at a level I could understand, including the food. If you can get out to Tsunan (and the train there was quite scenic, so do try), I really can't recommend it enough. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. »

« The hotel is located near the ski lift, which is very convenient. You can also rent your ski gear from the hotel. The continental breakfast is very good. However, the hotel is really outdated and dirty. The common areas were full of live and dead bugs, and the wifi was not accessible in the room. The room was clean though, but some bugs made their way to the room. There is only one restaurant in the town. It is a 12 minute walk from the hôtel and it closes early (6pm). Cash payment only. « Checkout staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The onsen was welcoming for foreigners and we were informed tattoos were okay too, which was an unexpected surprise. Amenities (including robe for the onsen) were provided and there were vending machines easily accessible as well. Short walk to Yuzawa Station so it was very convenient. Compared to other properties in the area, it was nice to stay in a hotel with a private bathroom for only a slight price increase from hostel-style accommodations....
